Pazmino plans to leverage this opportunity to develop his writing and critical thinking skills.

Professor of Library and Information Science Michael Lesk served on the Library and Information Science faculty at SC&I for twenty years, following a successful career at Bell Labs, Bellcore, and the National Science Foundation.
The conference will close with a social hosted by SC&I’s Interim Dean and Distinguished Professor of Journalism and Media Studies Dafna Lemish, along with fellow deans from University of South Carolina, University of Kentucky, and University of Alabama. The keynote speaker will be Alberto Ibargüen, president of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
