Asma Jaghman is a Ph.D. student in Media Studies focusing on press freedom, media censorship, and journalist safety in conflict zones, particularly in the Middle East. She holds an M.A. in Arts Journalism and Communications from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. In her home country, Jaghman serves as a lecturer at Qatar University, where she also earned her B.A. in Mass Communications.
