Xiaofeng Li is a Part-Time Lecturer at the School of Communication and Information (SC&I), Rutgers University, New Brunswick. Li received her Ph.D. degree in May 2018 from SC&I, Rutgers University. Her research interests are centered on understanding young people’s participation and information practices in informal learning environments, especially in makerspaces in library settings, and how these practices are afforded and constrained by the use of information technologies.
