From a game of SC&I Bingo (complete with heckling from the audience), to Professor Craig Scott’s use of props during the awards ceremony, the 2017 SC&I Honors Day Celebration was particularly lively and fun.
The SC&I Honors Day celebration, which has been an annual tradition for nine years, was held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 5, at the Brower Commons Dining Room on College Avenue.
This event provides faculty, staff and students with the opportunity to spend an evening together to enjoy great food, mingle and catch up, and celebrate their colleague’s successes.
Professor Marie Radford, who, as Director of the Ph.D. program, planned the event, said, "Honors Day is an amazing experience every year as we celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of our SC&I graduate students, faculty and staff. It is my pleasure to have hosted this event for the past three years, as Ph.D. Director. This year is my last, and I appreciated the fun spirit in which everyone engaged in our SC&I Bingo game with fabulous prizes and lots of laughter!"
