Three SC&I Communication faculty members and two doctoral students participated in the second annual Cancer Research Symposium jointly sponsored by Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and Princeton University held virtually on January 11.
Founded by alumni Kayla Michele ‘17 and Chisa Egbelu ‘16, PeduL “harnesses tailored corporate scholarships to match underrepresented students with the internships and career opportunities that best meet employers’ needs.” PeduL recently received a grant from Google, and they have also recently been invited to join one of most successful accelerators in the country, Techstars.
Ashley Gallagher completed the Master of Communication and Media program in December 2021, specializing in digital media. Currently a post-production coordinator for Showtime Networks Inc., she is busy putting her newly learned skills to work.
Caitlin Smits, a current Master of Information student who’s completing the program online from her home in Minnesota, has been on a journey to find a career that’s the right fit.
