Park said the aim of her dissertation work was to find ways to reduce online incivility while maintaining the anonymity of online platforms to promote robust exercise in free speech.
Born and bred in New Jersey, he earned his Master of Information from SC&I in 2022 and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall. Murphy holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from American University and has studied at King’s College London and New York University.
Christie teaches the classes Professional Writing in Communication, Internship in Communication (online), and Principles of Interviewing and is the advisor of the Rutgers Public Speaking Organization.
Christina Steffy MLIS’11 spent 13 years working in libraries after completing her degree at Rutgers SC&I. She started as a solo librarian at a small nursing school in Pottsville, Pa., then moved to the Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences as the manager of library support services.
The SC&I Communication Department is pleased to welcome Jianing Li to the faculty as an assistant professor of Communication in fall 2024. Li is currently an assistant professor at the University of South Florida.
