Hyun Sunwoo is a Ph.D. student in School of Communication and Information. She received her B.A. in British & American Literature and M.A. in English Linguistics from Sogang University in Seoul, South Korea. Her research interests lie on institutional talk-in-interaction, specifically help line calls. She intends to focus on intercultural aspects of institutional talks of various contexts.
