Dione Surdez's background in digital asset management is complemented by experience in a variety of gallery, library, archival, museum, creative, and virtual reality environments. In addition to their Rutgers SC&I involvement, Surdez is a Digital Archives and Digital Media Management Consultant with BXB3 Corporation, as well as a Technical Services Librarian and Digital Projects Manager for LA County Library.
Surdez holds an MMLIS from Marshall School of Business at USC, and a BA in Creative Writing from Dornsife College at USC. Surdez is currently finishing up a Professional Certificate in Rare Books and Manuscripts from California Rare Book School at UCLA Graduate School of Education & Information Studies. Surdez achieved their Advanced Certificate in DAM from Rutgers University SC&I, and has previously been a Teaching Assistant in the program for several courses.
