Silei Zhu is a Ph.D. student in Media Studies with professional experience in the UN’s communication department and three years of academic work as a research assistant on a digital journalism project. His current research focuses on the intersection of media and technology, emphasizing the socio-technical dynamics of media platforms. He critically explores digital labor, digital culture, and the platform economy.
