Communication faculty and students will attend the Central States Communication Association Conference (CSCA) in St. Louis, Missouri, from Wednesday, March 29, through Sunday, April 2. The convention’s theme is “Intersections, Transitions, and Silenced Voices.”
Faculty and students from SC&I's Communication Department will attend the 114th Eastern Communication Association (ECA) conference at the Hyatt Regency Inner Harbor in Baltimore, Maryland, from March 29–April 2. The ECA is a professional organization of scholars, teachers, and Communication Studies students. Initially established in 1910, it continues as the oldest professional communication association in the United States.
The Department of Communication in the School of Communication and Information (SC&I), Rutgers University–New Brunswick, will launch its second annual #BeCOMM communications and social media campaign to celebrate and promote the communication major at Rutgers and inform undeclared majors, transfer students, and prospective Rutgers students about majoring in communication at SC&I.

The aim of this year’s incubator, hosted by and for the school’s scholarly community, was “to explore the connections among DEI&A and the digitalization of life and living for the conduct of inclusive discovery in SC&I’s research and pedagogy, especially as it relates to insights and innovations in the methodologies and methods SC&I uses and teaches.”
