Marie Radford's new book tackles the fundamentals of the reference interview, from why it’s important in the first place to methods for setting the stage for a successful interview and techniques for finding out what the library user really wants to know. Radford is a professor of library and information science at the Rutgers School of Communication and Information (SC&I).

Associate Professor Chirag Shah Receives Grant from Amazon

Associate Professor of Library and Information Science Chirag Shah has received a $100,000 grant from Amazon to pursue research on his project “Addressing Cold Start Problem in Personalization and Recommendation Using Proactive Information Retrieval.”
