Christina Steffy MLIS’11 Touts the Value of the Library Science Education She Received at SC&I

Christina Steffy MLIS’11 spent 13 years working in libraries after completing her degree at Rutgers SC&I. She started as a solo librarian at a small nursing school in Pottsville, Pa., then moved to the Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences as the manager of library support services.
LIS Faculty and Students to Attend New Jersey Librarian Association Conference May 29 – 31

Faculty, students, and alumni from SC&I’s Library and Information Science (LIS) Department will attend the annual New Jersey Library Association (NJLA) Conference, May 29–31, at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City. The conference is the premier professional development event for the state’s library community, and this year’s theme is “Breaking Barriers: Inclusive Collaboration.”
